PLEASE NOTE- DUE TO THE RECENT COVID-19 PANDEMIC WE HAVE DECIDED TO POSTPONE ALL BREEDING PLANS FOR 2020 and 2021. THIS IS DUE TO THE DIFFICULTIES IN SOCIALISING NEW PUPPIES AND ALSO VARIOUS RESTRICTIONS ON HEALTH TESTING PROVISIONS PROVIDED BY VETERINARY PRACTICES. DUE TO A SURGE IN DEMAND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR US TO RESPOND TO ALL ENQUIRES.
Here at Nizu, we aim to breed to standard, type, temperament and for good health and longevity. All our shiba have been examined under the BVA/KC/ISDS eye scheme and has passed the goniodysgenesis tests for primary glaucoma. We have also screened our dogs for GM1 and GM2 a storage disease disorder.
All puppies will leave us having received their first vaccination against parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis and leptospirosis. Both the bitch and any offspring are also treated with Panacur while with us to provide protection against endoparasites.
As from Spring 2016, microchipping of dogs will become a legal requirement. No exceptions will be made under any circumstances. A microchip will ALWAYS be implanted. You will receive a transfer of keeper document which will make you the primary owner of the puppy. Our details will also stay on the microchip database as the breeder.
All puppies will be Kennel Club registered and you will receive a Change of Ownership Form. Upon completion of the form you will receive a owner registration certificate from the Kennel Club. Two endorsements will be present on the owner registration certificate. R- Progeny Not Eligible for Registration and X- Not Eligible for Issue of Export Pedigree. Upon our discretion, these endorsements will be lifted for those actively involved in KC or FCI showing. These endorsements are put in place to safeguard the dogs welfare, ourselves and also the breed. Exceptions for these restrictions are available for those abroad looking to add our breeding lines into an international kennel.
